What Is Herpes, Cold Sore and How to Suppress It
Herpes is a common infections that affects to the general public nowadays. Herpes and cold sore are caused by HSV, so they usually have similar symptoms. A cold sore usually spread through some stages:
· The first stage: Many people feel burning, itching, or tingling around their lips for a day or before a small and painful blisters break.
· The second one: these small blisters often break out along the border of the lips. Cold sores can also appear on the cheeks around the nose.
· The last stage: These small blisters can unify and then erupt.
These symptoms can last some days and the blister can take 7-14 days to disappear completely. Besides, some people can have several symptoms: fever, headache, muscle aches, sore throat.
For genital herpes, it is caused by the infection of virus HSV-2. When this virus enters the body, after a few days (usually from 3-7 days), it begins to show some symptoms:
· Firstly, patients is itching and uncomfortable in genital area and blisters can be appeared. In women, it can be in vagina, cervix or buttock. For men, it is usually appeared in the scrotums, buttock, penis, urethra.
· Secondly, these small blisters can be broken and produced raw, painful sores that scab and heal over within a few weeks.
· Thirdly, patients can feel painful when urinating, it is a common symptom of genital herpes.
· Finally, these symptoms can be likely to flu with fever, muscle aches, anorexia or fatigue
They are some common symptoms of cold sore and genital herpes, but some people do not understand how they can get this disease.

How do patients get this disease?

Herpes is easily transmitted from skin to skin. If someone has the virus, he or she can spread this virus through skin to other people.
